I remember going to Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The studio looks moderately sized on TV, even when they pull back and show him running around the audience, but think about a really small Multiplexed movie auditorium, one of those little divided up "boxes", and that's about the size of the REAL studio. I imagine this is true of almost every TV studio to one degree or another. So we get into the new studio, and the first impression I have is that it's really not very big. It looked smaller than the one that we were used to seeing in past years, and after having seen it on TV, I can tell you that it looks WAY bigger on TV than it is in real life. Most sets are like this by the way.
Nope. Then Paula comes out on the stage and makes it 98% of the way to the judges table before tripping. Would you expect anything else???
Was there a visible Coke Cup passoff/fillup after she got there?
Ryan's a bit ridiculous, but he certainly gets points for mocking Randy. At one time, he was in Randy's chair (the judges aren't always there, but I'll get to that in a sec.) doing an impression of Randy. "Yo yo, dawg, check this out... now check this out," and so on.
It angers me on several levels that they had to even bother to play nice with these nobodies. At one point, Randy and Simon had to go over and say hi to the Kardashians.
