Paula Abdul re vealed on yesterday's "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest" that she had nine neck sur geries after being hit by a drunk driver and being involved in a plane crash several years ago.
"Nobody knows that," Abdul told Ryan Seacrest. "Nine neck surgeries . . . there was a time where I couldn't talk. I had my vocal chords and my dancing pretty much gone."
Abdul, who went public with her eating disorder in 1995, also commented on Mary-Kate Olsen, who's re portedly battling anorexia.
"I was very concerned for her . . . And I actually sent her a little note saying, 'If you ever need anyone to talk to . . . ' " Abdul told Seacrest. "I encourage anyone who is suffering through that to go get help, because you cannot — and I repeat, you cannot — do it alone."
