I'm rooting for "Fantasia" ........She's got a great voice, great style and she's local. She's from High Point, NC (just 15 mins. from me). Not far at all considering my daughter goes to school in High Point also! Goooooooooo Fantasia!! I will choose a few others when they get to the 32 finalists. AI3 doesn't even come close to being as good as AI2. Too many bad singers & not enough good ones to choose from!

    My favorites:

    Scooter Girl
    Red Haired John
    Jasmine
    Amy
    Bao Vien
Red Haired Lisa (Simon told her she needs to lose weight)
    Draeh
    Matthew
    Bri
    Fantasia

Glad to see they all made it through to the top 67. Maybe Lauren wasn't put through because the judges thought her song was too negative... I dunno.

Fantasia: what can I say, this chick is awesome. She's got this strong Aretha Franklin/Macy Gray voice, but doesn't come off diva-ish. The music industry could use this kind of talent again.

Jennifer Hudson (Disney cruise ship worker): She totally sold her first audition song.

Amy Ward: Love this chick's personality. She's funny and upbeat.

John Peter: What can I say, I loved 8 is enough and he reminds me of Willie Ames.

Football Guy: Loved his personality during the LA auditions. I hope he never gets hair plugs.

Bri: not pop star material, but a cool chick nonetheless. She's keeping it real.

    to:

    Scooter Girl: she's so fake

    and

    Alan (Idol): :rolleyes

I absolutely adore John the redhead crooner. And I like the pen salesman, too. Fantasia was the only girl who really stood out me (in a good way).

I love Bao! Oh, and Jeffrey! They had really good voices, seemed polite, and were really attractive.
I can't believe they didn't make it farther.

What annoys me most is that Lisa and Alan made it furthur than them. That's such crap. It made me judge the judge's saneness at the time.

    Hopefully, maybe, they'll be back?

I think he's trying to be Harry Connick Jr. or Michael Buble'
