Personally, I find it odd that Pete Waterman and Simon Cowell kept referring to Kurt as a dark horse when he was the pastiest performer up there.

Good luck Kurt! Hope you will win. Show those judges why you won in Norway!

Who here wasn't happy with Kurt?
I can't believe he won. I listened to people say what an amazing talent he is all week. Well the truth is people, he wasn't a great 'talent,' and in my opinion did not deserve to win. He sang the song 'Beautiful Day' EXACTLY as the original who was sung by U2. I don't know if you know but his hit single in Norway was 'She's so High' by Tal Bachman which was again sung EXACTLY like the original. So when people say a great talent won World Idol i say: No, a great mimic won World Idol.

Maybe some view Kurt's talent has having a great voice and his ability to perform well.

Tal Bachman sings it like it was a comedy song (his voice is low and not the best, that's the whole point in the song). If you think that is exactly the same as Kurt sung, then there is something very wrong with you ears.
My advice: listen to them both once more..
