    Who Should Audition?

Do you know anyone who is planning to audition for the next American Juniors (if there is one)? Do you know anyone who should?

If there is one, my younger cousin Colton Gosselin will be auditioning. He made it to the top five on Nickelodeon's "Are You All That?" but unfortunately, he didn't win. Did anyone see him by the way? Anyways, he is an awesome singer and keep your eye out for him. Also my younger friend Sara should audition. She's amazing! She tried to audition this time, but they turned her away in her car.

One of the biggest problems with the auditions is that they only take a small percentage of the cars that show up early. Most of the talent is turned away. I think they should send two armbands out to all of the reputable voice coaches in the country with a letter telling them to give the armbands to their most qualified students. Any one showing up with that armband would then be guarenteed an audition. A system like that would still be fair and would raise the talent bar quite a bit.

    Or they could either:

    1. Have people send in video tapes, and only the best get to audition in person. OR

    2. Just expand the auditions to more days and let everyone audition.

I don't think the producers really care if they get the most talented people...

I did see Colton on Nickelodeon. Who won by the way?? I didn't see it. I want to try out, but I don't like to sing in front of people lol. So i guess this is definitely not right for me. Plus, I don't think they are having another one.

I might try out again. I tried out in Chicago last time, but I didn't make it. I think it was because I couldn't dance. I did, however, get a small mention on the show. (Ryan Seacrest pronounced my name incorrectly!)
