From the record label's point of view, I'd either pick Lucy, Katelyn, or Canyon.

Lucy has the strongest, most mind-blowing voice of the top 20. Some of the kids, like Grace Leer, had powerful voices as well, but they just didn't sound "pop" if you know what I mean. Lucy's a pretty girl, and she seems sweet (she always says thank you to the judges- too cute). Good total package.

Katelyn has this classic confidence and beauty to her that would be very appealing in a label situation. She has a pure voice thats needs just a little fine tuning. I can see her as an Ashanti type in that she would probably do a lot of duets with the males on the record label. Good choice.

Canyon. Kind of a wild card, considering his voice needs work. Not gonna lie. But he "sparkles" (wow, I sound like a loser...) He's charsimatic and lights up the stage. He's got the looks, the style, and *personality* (a thing many of the kids lack). With a little work, he'd be my top choice.

Now I don't pretend to think Mandy Moore is a great singer. But on her next CD, which could be a disaster, she covers "classics," much like American Juniors. It is hard to imagine any of the 10 finalists doing these songs very well, let alone Moore. It's too difficult to be a succesful record producer.

    "Help Me" (Joni Mitchell)
    "Anticipation" (Carly Simon)
"Breaking Us in Two" (Joe Jackson)
    "One Way or Another" (Blondie)
    "Moonshadow" (Cat Stevens)
"Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters" (Elton John)
"I Feel the Earth Move" (Carole King)
    "Whole of the Moon" (Waterboys)
"Have a Little Faith In Me" (John Hiatt)
    "Senses Working Overtime" (XTC)
"Can We Still Be Friends" (Todd Rundgren)
    "Drop the Pilot" (Joan Armatrading)

But I think Danielle could do a great job on "Moonshadow."

Not because shes my favorite but i think Lucy would be most successful because she has the strongest voice. But Chauncey i think would do really good too because hes really cute, and he has a great voice.

I think Lucy would be good, but I would wait a few years until she was older. She has a good voice, but it would be hard to make a 14 year old be considered a serious singer, in my opinion.

    Pick one and why?
My favorite's Danielle, but I pick Lucy because she is pretty and could be marketed as along the lines of a pop ballad-type singer (this doesn't make any sense but oh well)
