my mom asked me if i wanted to tryout and i said no!!! i hate myself for saying that!! i have a good voice and i've been dancing since the age of 3 so it was a possibility of me making it.

Plus now im too old for american juniors and still too young for american idol. it sucks being in the middle!

If I knew about the auditions I probably would've tried out. I would have embarassed myself in the dancing part. I can sing ok, but I can't dance at all.

I don't see why they don't try American Juniors and American Teens.
Bracket together kids from 9-12 for the AJ's and have kids from 13-15 for AT's.
You do this because you'll have the novelty of the, awwwww look how cute them kids are for the AJ's and with the group you'd get from the AT's you might actually get a group with some staying power.

You know I have the same problem I feel you Fox and 19E are just not being far!

Yes they must raise the age limit, and if anyone is to be discriminated against it should be 6-10 year olds. They are cute, but their voices and attitudes are no where near ready for prime time. FOX likes the stacked look of various ages. If they also want a quality group, make the age range 11-15. That way the little ones in the group would be the Danielles, Taylors or Graces all of whom would look tiny next to a couple of 15 year olds.
