I think Taylor dances quite well, actually! He always moves right with the beat. I dont care for the way Kat can't seem to "get into" her songs emotionally at all. THAT to me, is not a good performer.

This is only an amateur talent show, and Taylor and the others are employees of the producers. He's a song-and-dance man following the direction of his boss. And the only thing his boss did was ask him to perform again--something Taylor will NEVER turn down. This is the man who never met a stage he didn't like, and I love him for it.

But I think Kat is still a better performer than Taylor.
She doesn't have any personality at all when she sings. She seems to disconnect with the music except to try to hit certain notes and make it sound a certain way. I prefer watching a performer really get into what they're singing.

I don't see Taylor having horrible dance moves, I think he moves very well, and always in keeping with the song he's singing. I would pay to see Taylor perform live, I wouldn't go to see Kat if it was free.

I can understand that maybe TPTB prefer Taylor, but at least let us THINK that our votes are a part of it.

And of course none of this is Taylors fault. Like someone just said, he wasn't going to say no, I'm not going to sing again.

I, for one, really think that Taylor knew ahead of time that he would be singing last night.
I'm sure Taylor knew in advance ... but I also think that for the second time ... Taylor was USED by the producers. I believe it was simply a device to create some suspense. Remember, the pre-show hype was that the results would be a "shocker". Kat or Elliott going home would not have been a shocker per se. Many, many people, were looking at the clock, and thinking that since Taylor was singing and there was little time left, Taylor was going to be the shocking eliminee via some twisted comment by Ryan. As said ... the side-picking was a device and the request for reprise of JHR was a device ... and Taylor was USED for both. Each of these things got people talking and watching.

I'm really leaning towards thinking they want to sabotage him rather than help him win.

It has certainly seemed that way to me.

We'll just have to make sure their tactics don't work

Actually, Katherine's moves, when she sings, are notably out of synch with the music, "spazzy," in other words. Some newspaper reviewers, such as the Washington Post, have made fun of her for this. I've always found her poor physical rhythm really odd, since she's supposed to be musical. Perhaps it explains why she is sometimes off the beat when she sings.

On the other hand, Taylor's moves are always in synch with the rhythm, reflecting his innate musicanship.

I'm with you on that! I have nothing against Kat but she just leaves me flat. Taylor though....he's the Cat's Pajamas! I love his cornball antics, his Drunk Dad at a Wedding, and his Blue-sy soul. All the things that Simon and others find objectionable about Taylor, I find endearing. I guess that's why there's so many people in this world: so we can all find that perfect match for our tastes.

I did not say that Taylor should be held accountable for Chris not finishing his song. I was talking about two separate things that you are blending together.

Let me rephrase, because I might have been expressed myself unclearly. I meant to say that it was not Taylor's fault that Chris did not get to finish his song. That's it. AI always cuts the losers off, all the time. Taylor knew he was going to sing, I'm pretty sure, but he had no part in Chris having less time to sing. That was AI business as usual. I'd have prefered if Taylor didn't sing, but that's another matter alltogether.

The fact that Taylor is a yes man, has no bearing on the fact that Chris didn't finish his song.
