I'm looking forward to this one. While he doesn't have the matinee looks of Ol' Blue Eyes, the voice is certainly there. And hey, look at the transformation Clay went thru last year.

I have no idea why this guy made the top 32.

Hopefully he can do more than just impersonate Dean Martin.

fluff, I thought I was alone in that way of thinking....

He screwed up in all his Hollywood auditions, and he just doesn't strike me as an "American Idol"

Yeah, there's more to this competition than Frank Sinatra imitations. Good voice, but ruins it with the 50's lounge act.

he's interesting. sure, he looks like howdy doody and sounds like someone his grandparents would have listened to. but it will be interesting to see what happens. his success or failure this week will be 100% song choice. If he comes out and sings a Frank Sinatra song, Katie Webber's jazzy number will look like an edgy Christina performance by comparison.
And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia!

I like his voice, personality and he kind of has a humbleness about him. He was an early favorite of mine. I hope he picks a good song to show off his vocal ability. I like him, but as someone else already stated impersonating someone is not going to get you to the top.

He went in impersonating in his first audition and they stopped him and made him do a song like himself, and he did. He has a nice voice. He is different. He is a definate alternative for those who don't like the "screechy/screaming" type of singing that many people on here seem to be tired of. He is young however and did mess up in his Hollywood auditions, so he may not be ready for this. I hope he does great next week, and if not, I hope he tries again in the future.
