Isn't $400.00 per night enough for clothes?
'American Idol' Limits Contestants To $400 For Their Onstage Costumes
Thinking about last night as a whole, I think the only performance I am ever likely to remember was Kree's "Here Comes Goodbye". Partly because it was beautiful, and partly because of her life story.
All in all, I thought most of the song choices last night were utterly bizarre. I don't know what the show was going for, but it was a flop to me. I think the last round was a set up to get rid of Kree, because you had that awful song that seemed so utterly inappropriate given what she had just sung about, followed by the big, soaring song for Candice. That disappointed me. This final 3 reminded me a bit of Season 5, in that Kree's hometown visit touched my heart the most, by miles (like Elliott's did), I liked her the best, by miles (like Elliott), and then she will probably be going home (like Elliott). :crying
I think it should be Kree and Candice in the finale, but I ultimately believe there's no way Angie does not win the whole show. Which is disappointing as well to me. I don't dislike her at all and have enjoyed many of her performances, but I don't find her as super talented as the judges say she is and have never gotten the hype they have over her, really.
Also ... the whole season has been programmed and set up to have a female winner. They wanted to "make history" and they did with the lowest ratings ever! .This is one of the reasons I am happy that "America" manipulated back ... and let Lazaro be the last man standing. There is a message there from the public.
