Each contestant will sing 2 songs.

    1) Songs they wish they had written
    2) Songs from the Hal David Burt Bacharach library.

So...ballads and ballads. They were so successful with up beat tunes.

Classic Rock, No Ballads theme was a total fail! 3 sang ballads anyway and one of them is not even a classic. So by that standard alone, Angie totally ignored the rules and should have been eliminated. Same reason why Michelle of Project Runway got the lowest score.

I wouldn't really call Bring Me to Life a ballad... has a slow opening but other than that..

    Re: Janelle Arthur AI 12

I just saw the songs that she is set to do tonight. Is it okay to discuss it now? I didn't see a thread for tonight yet.

They will do two songs. One the year of birth and the other a diva.

This is confirmed in a article spoiling Lazaro's choices for this evening.

I am not certain about posting the actual choices here ... but hopefully someone who does know will respond!

OK ... there is a song choice spoiler for everyone but Kree ... and the spoiler for Candice is part speculation.

Debb ... I did read janell's ... and they sound like great choices!
