And he's already proven he's got more to offer than falsetto. He sings extremely well in his lower register also. Good enough for me.

Yes, I liked the week Deandre sang in his lower register, but the judges hammered him for it. WHY? He sounded so great like that.

I hope she moves into her own next week. To demonstrate, here a clip of Miranda performing:

Remember last year's top 4 when Haley R and Lauren Alaina sang it as a duet? Because of Haley, it was jazzed up which pulled out some slides and made it very interesting.

I understand that. The reason I brought up the genre, is because someone was saying how it was the "little girls" keeping DeAndre here. My point was that there are plenty of folks that enjoy DeAndre and his style of singing that aren't little girls (me lol). I thought he was spot on Wednesday night.

I love country music, and I don't love Skylar ... don't know why even. When my boys were babies and got fussy, I would put Trisha Yearwood on, it was like baby valium. They would calm right down, their little eyes would gloss over, crooked smiles on their face. Trisha was the only music they liked.

Regarding Skylar as a Miranda clone, I don't hear it. Skylar has a more pronounced country twang in her voice than Miranda...more like Reba McIntyre.

There are similarities between Reba and Skylar; however, the performance style between Miranda and Skylar is uncanny. I don't know that it's done Skylar any favors to continually emphasize how much she loves Miranda, as she could be seen as a real copy cat and nothing more.

I feel certain that Skylar made bottom three because whoever hates her on the fashion team is sending us subliminal "bottom" messages.

Skylar is more interesting than Miranda Lambert, imo. Watching Miranda Lambert is like watching paint dry.

I liked him the one time he sang in the lower register. I think a little bit of falsetto goes a long way.
