I think this kid is adorable and his voice is very masculine and sexy.

I have to try to figure out what everyone sees in this kid or I have a feeling I'm not going to be very happy with this season's winner. I don't find his voice very musical at all.

I'm having the same problem in trying to relate to him. At audition he was better with guitar and that got him through.

Interesting comments. He seems to one of those singers you either really like, or really don't like. That does not bode well for his chances at taking the No. 1 spot.

Don't like his singing. He's too one-note for my tastes. His voice has no melodic rhythm at all, all he does is growl the lyrics. I kept waiting for him to break into the melody of the song but that never happened. He talked and growled his way through the entire thing. Reminds me a lot of Casey from last year, who I actually thought was talented, but then he resorted to growling his way through every song too, and it got old, fast.

Loved Phil last night - Jessica was awesome too - but what I love about Phillip is that he is different.
He brings something new. Jessica, while amazing, is a voice, Philip is a musician.

Did you guys see the report that Phil was in the hospital Thursday? Stomach pains - something to do with those nasty gall stones. He said he wouldn't be making any decisions about surgery until after he knew the results. Since he made it (I don't think there was much doubt there lol), I sure hope he doesn't have any more attacks because I bet he is going to opt out of getting surgery until the season is over for him.
