I don't see anything wrong with Lauren hugging her mom. She was singing the song to her mom. Was she supposed to ignore her mom in the audience? It is not because I'm pro-Lauren. I love both of them.

    Cheesy, chessy, cheesy.

And I'd have said the same if they had Scotty singing a "mama" song and hugging his mom. That song should have had apple pie and Chevrolet in it, too. And maybe kittens and rainbows.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought there was anything wrong, I just think of course it will be a moment! Any time a contestant gives props to a parent or a child... it goes over well.

ARen't the final songs always a bit of a cheesefest? These were much better then some of the dreck we've had in the past (though I like Cookie's song alot)

If you get a recording saying all circuits are busy, does this only mean for the one you're voting for?

I will admit that BOTH of the final songs were a big improvement over the dreck they usually force on the winners.

I can't believe it's been something like 25 minutes since anyone's posted in this thread, and it's the final performance night. Unheard of! Boring, boring, boring!

DI has Scotty doing about twice as well as Lauren, though I'm not sure at all I am interpreting it right.

    Good night!
