Why does he keep continuing to call him "Scotty the Body"?

    OMG. PANDER MUCH, SCOTTY??

(Gutmutter, it's from the season with Scott Savol, a big, rotund guy.)

ETA: Randy just emphasized how we should all vote for Scotty, I mean, how it was the perfect song for Scotty, because of where the country is right now.

What do y'all think about Scotty singing this song? It was written right after 9/11, right? Is this similar to a contestant singing "God Bless the USA" or something similar?

I'm curious to hear what the judges think of this song choice.

Never mind. "A Simple Man Who Sings Simple Songs" by Alan Jackson. (Homage to 9/11)

No offence to anyone, but I thought it was totally predictable that Scotty would sing this song.

He's doing exactly what the judge (was it Jennifer?) advised. Choosing his song wisely. It's called game-playing! I love a smart player.

My Mom says that judges were hiding what they really thought.

Scotty has a great voice, but he always sounds the same to me. Everyone else is expected to change it up, why not Scotty?

The fiddle player on stage with Scotty is Megan Mullins from Nashville Star House Band and CMT Next Superstar House Band fame.
