Didn't love Jacob - during his rehearsal, didn't look like Babyface was loving it too much either.

I thought Lauren was great - nice to see her let go a little, and I think that gal can sing!

Loved the Casey/Haley duet. They were having so much fun that it was contagious!

I didn't love what Scotty did, but obviously, I'm in the minority here. It started off nice, but then seemed forced to a place that didn't seem natural for the song.

I'm behind, so can't comment on James.

    Lauren and Scotty together again.

A judge runs up to hug a contestant. Again.

No, I don't think so. He was just in the front row and when she saw him swooning, I think she twirled around and led him up. Now, whether they told her to find someone and planted him there, I don't know. But I definitely think it was a random guy chosen to come on stage.

So do we call James as having "a moment" tonight?

I wish that James had sung the entire song like the beginning, without going into the 'rock' vibe. The beginning of the song was just perfect.

I'd say so. But according to the judges, he has one every week. (Replying to libgirl)

We're both in the minority. After the a capella opening, I didn't care for James. Not that he was bad, just blah.

Good job tonight, James! I am not usually a fan, at all.

I was thinking that and remembering "In a Dream" and just how effective that was. That said, I love James and I loved that!

Whoever writes the subtitles needs to learn how to spell. That would be "complement." And Lauren, it means have strengths that go well with those of another person.
