Aw. I love the last kid. Such a sweet boy, and his voice is pretty good. Stephen Tyler surprised me; I thought he was very funny and I liked the vibe between the panel. We'll see if they keep it up.

Are you talking about Travis (the last boy)? I thought he sounded really nice (and I would never describe Megan that way). What is the connection you are seeing / hearing?

Well - I really enjoyed this evening - and I don't usually feel that way about the audition episodes. Props to Nigel Lythgoe for focusing more on the talented kids than the crazies. I thought the mix was about right.

It will still get annoying if we have to listen to it multiple times every week.

I'm going to try this---I guess the stylized singing that seems to justifiably catch your attention because it's good but it seems to me to hide a lack of range because the voice overall isn't strong. I just think he will frustrate with the switching styles in hollywood like MJ.

Unless he has the inventiveness like Blake (beat box guy) did.

It isn't to his fans, though.

Guess it depends on which fan you are talking to. I like Aerosmith and think it will get annoying. It makes sense in the songs to me but not just anywhere.

I actually enjoyed the new panel. Steven surprised me (more alert and articulate, maybe? than I thought he would be) and JLo was very sweet. I think this was the first show I've enjoyed in several years now. Now I can't wait to see what they do when the show actually begins.

That said, I thought the best of the bunch were the teenagers, mostly.
