I really felt like he came out and gave it his all.... he grew over this competition, much like I think Kris did last year....

Hallelujah, for me, will always belong to Jason Castro. I loved it when he sang it. Lee did well to but . . .

Funny you should mention that. A couple of weeks ago Linda Holmes, the NPR entertainment reporter said that if Lee finished first it would be like Kris Allen gained some weight, puffed a few cigars, came back and won again.

Lee was the STAR tonight, definitely! He will be getting my votes.

Crystal came good - Lee got good. If we are looking for growth, Lee wins hands down. That said, I have to pat myself on the back. First week with the final 20something, I said it was going to be a Crystal/Lee finale.

    Anyone catch the text numbers?

Lee's arrangement of that song was an abomination!

Never in a million years did I think I'd prefer to listen to Tim sing "Hallelujah" over ANYONE, but Lee just changed all that.

Going to listen to some Jeff Buckley and hear how it's really done and recover from that - hopefully Simon won't get any royalties off my listen!

Lee was my fave from day one. The growth this season was amazing. And he's humble. No attitude. Never acted like he had this competition in the bag or that he was too cool for it. And tonight, he was stunning! He's had my vote all season and he's definitely got it tonight.

I want to know who did Lee's arrangement. Because I don't believe those musical ideas came out of his head.

    Agreed, totally.
He'll get my vote for all those reasons.
