I'll amend it to this: Lesson #2: Don't Take Ryan's Bait.

I still don't care for BML.

West Coast here... so I have not heard any of the performances... but your comments don't make them sound too good. Sounds as if Casey did worse than Aaron. It would be a shame for Aaron to last longer than Casey because of this genre... he is a better singer... this just isn't his style.
Okay I love FORT's casino, but I really am not very good. If anyone wants to donate their FORT $$ I would gladly accept http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum....php?do=donate

I like that they are all singing the same genre this week. It gives us a chance to compare them against each other. Usually the idols try and stay in their comfort zones and we end up voting based on genre or something. This makes things more even although it certainly exposed some weaknesses that the idols have.

Well, I've liked some of Mike's performances and was one of the few who was glad the judges used the save on him, but this did nothing for me. He was hovering under the notes, which he does often, and it just made me cringe. Nothing special for me, dawg.

Frank's version. Once again I'm sure we all know what it sounds like.

I don't usually get into these realm but . . . did Crystal really deserve the review the judges gave her or is there some sort of manipulation going on here?

No, it hasn't been that exciting of a night. But don't go by the judges comments. I thought Aaron was awful and yet Randy and Ellen gave him props. I didn't get it. Than again, the last few weeks I have totally disagreed with the judges comments.

    Lee DeWyze – That’s Life

Lee goes back to the Jazz Club setting with That's Life. And he does a great job. This is Lee at his most (shock!) commanding. He's amazingly got the phrasing and the swagger to pull this off.

Randy: You stayed your rocker self.
Ellen: If this was the last night of performances you would have just won the whole thing.
Kara: You better go home tonight and write "I can win this thing" a hundred times because that's the confidence you need.
Simon: Harry brought out your personality and confidence. You gave it 110% and it was by far the best performance of the night.

Lee: I am totally shocked at how he's rocking this song!!! WOW!!! This one of the few times I've really liked Lee. He showed his stuff tonight!!
