Michael Lynche sings In the Ghetto
Mike is at the guitar on the edge of the stage. And it's a really good job from Mike. Vocals are right-on as always, but the guitar keeps the cheese factor down.
Randy: Good job.
Ellen: I'm glad we saved you.
Simon: Million times better than last week.

I don't usually like Michael, but I liked this.
Proving that the save last week was wasted.
Big Mike was too slow and sleepy.
Sad when Mac Davis is more dynamic.

Siobhan is admittedly my hands-down favorite, so I'm biased. But I can't account for the way that hit me and didn't work for others.
And Mike remains my second favorite--love that song, and he did a nice job with it.
Agreed. Seems like the judges want Andrew gone and Mike to stay. Whatever, don't think either will win.Originally Posted by Unklescott;3876523;
Not a fan, but Big Mike looked like he was singing from the heart, and sold it for me. I thought the tempo fit the gravitas of the lyrics.
