Katie: Sure is hard sitting through all of these children. This child actually did a pretty good job.

    Katie's rockin' the ponytail.

Our backstage story on Katie is basically that she's just like Aaron (little brother/sister). But a girl. But "wacky". Sort of. In a wholesome way.

"Let It Be". She doesn't slaughter it. Then again, its hardly an original interpretation. But this might be on Simon's "don't fool with it" list. It's probably on mine.

I'll be honest. I'm not a fan of hers, but this is probably as good as she's ever done on this show.

Kara said "amazing" and "confident" how many times?

And she and Simon emphasized "Bottom 3", to get out the votes!

Wow, Katie was pretty darn good!

I just downloaded Kris Allen's "Let It Be" from itunes earlier today - it is so moving and hearfelt the way he connects with the music - so when I heard that Katie was doing this song, I was worried. Even though she's not an "old soul" - heck, she's just a kid - vocally speaking, she was great! With the right song choices, she can be very successfully commercially.
