Aaron looks how Simon probably looked when he was sixteen.

As usual, Simon is spot on.

Wow. One loudmouth in the audience manages to yell like Andrew Dice Clay ("Ooooooooooh!") at Simon's (accurate) comments about Lil' Aaron, and the show grinds to a halt? Come on.

Next up: Katie The Teenaged Robot.

Not the best Beatles interpretation we've ever seen, but that was okay for Aaron. Like him or not, I think this kid's gonna be a big star! (...someday)

And he was smart not to try to change it up - wise decision.

Yes, in a world where that Justin Bieber kid is a star, I agree. The Tweens will totally make Lil' Aaron a star. And we will suffer for it.

    Katie StevensLet it Be

Katie digs way back (a month) and pulls the Kris Allen arrangement of Let It Be. But she changed it up and made it her own - she added strings and backup singers. Aaron and Katie are so well matched - they should tour together some day.

Anyway - the singing was Katie's usual mix of OK / slightly flat.

    Randy: Your best performance ever.
Ellen: Changed it just enough without disrespecting the song.
Kara: No excuses; you're blossoming on the stage; confident. Look great; sound great.
Simon: Tonight you got it right. I don't want to take all the credit - but that sounded country. Felt like you were singing it about somebody.
