Well people here have been demanding for weeks that Mike do a different kind of song, and performance. This certainly qualified.

It was a bit static, but with this kind of song (a ballad) I suppose it had to be. Overall, I liked it.

Nice advice Usher, but Mike never has a problem with connecting with the audience.

Really liked Big Mike tonight. I think that is the first time I typed that this season. LOL

Big Mike: Wish I had some familiarity with this song. Seems like a nice one, but I'm not in love with the tone of his voice on parts of it. I am still a fan of the big man!

I actually thought it was beautiful.. although my big fear for him is that he will end up being another Rueban....

I love the song Mike Lynche is performing but I don't think it was a good choice for tonight. It seems rushed.

Ok, that 'look through the camera' example by Usher was sort of freaky. He's right...my stomach dropped and I wanted to shift out of his gaze. :

However, Mike didn't project like that. Yes, he sang but he closed his eyes most of the time. Hopefully, one day he can project more. His song was soothing though.
