Didi: Gotta close my eyes on this one to feel where it goes. She was right....the song was too much. It's a bit "bleached", if that makes sense. Tempo was wrong. She hit some crappy notes toward the end. She was right....it was too much for her.

    Doris Day-ish.

She lost her way. I guess because she couldn't figure out how Amy Winehouse would sing it.

I wish Randy had explained his point better. He was kind of right.

In a way, this is a very hard song. So on that basis, Didi did at least passably. She has no vocal range though, so she's always at risk of sounding "flat", but within her sweet spot it can work. Tonight? It didn't really.

Although the judges telling Didi "go back in your box" is always kind of eye rolling. They may be right, but its just SO repetitive.

I actually thought it was okay. Less of that jazzy affectation thing she usually has.

Didi looks like she's ready to slug Ryan while he gives out the numbers.

Now didi is making excuses: She's not good with R&B. What does that have to do with anything?

So, Didi got dumped, sang a song about it, sucked the life out of the song and got called on it, so Ryan is trying to pull her a few sympathy votes. Did I get that all right?
