I'd like her to do Changes.
    Or - I will Survive.
Two totally diff. songs for her that she could do a good job with.
She's done enough really slow stuff. She needs to turn it up, IMO.

Katie was prepping this song for next week - so Siobhan has already picked something else. Although with Katie gone if she wanted to grab it she could.

Siobhan, if you're going to do this go find the Marvin Hamlish arrangement from Barbra Streisand's One Voice concert. There won't be a dry eye in the house.

    Agreed!

What an odd list of "inspirational" songs. Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi? Really now.

TopCat, since you kow what song Katie was prepping for, do you know what Siobhan has chosen? I'm hoping for something more upbeat, the slow songs have been done to death.

No, I don't. I only know Katie's because she mentioned it in an exit interview.

And I agree, there will likely be a lot of power ballads next week. A smart contestant would look for an upbeat song.

How about Tim doing "Don't Worry Be Happy". I think of that song whenever I see him, anyway.

Back to the train wrecks - how a bout a group medley of all the Idol coronation songs!

Ah, okay. I haven't read any interviews with Katie yet.

Don't Worry, Be Happy would suit Tim perfectly.

Let's pick out some train wreck choices. How about:

Crystal - This Is My Now
    Tim - The Impossible Dream
Casey - You Light Up My Life
    How fun!

I suggest "Dream Weaver" for Tim since he does so well on songs that have really high notes . Too bad they don't have any Frankie Valie and the 4 Seasons on this list .

I thought she'd do well with 'Walkin on Sunshine'. I see someone else mentioned it for Crystal.....I see Crystal with the Jewel song ....but, what do I know, I can't even carry a tune.

Aw, c'mon! Don't you expect to feel really uplifted by the end of the show?

This could end up being a true test of who really does have the talent to succeed in this business. It seems the good songs would be difficult to do, and most of the rest are sappy and/or "old-fashioned," as Simon would say. Can anyone make their song choice interesting?

Please NOBODY do that song, I so want to hear something that hasn't already been done (to death) on Idol.

So many trainwrecks waiting to happen on that list.
