This was horrible again. What is wrong with Kara? She's back to complimenting this? It was a mess.

Simon is on crack if he thinks that it is the best of the night.

    Paige Miles sings Smile.

This is, unfortunately, a train wreck. I love the song - and she starts soft, but very unremarkable. Then picks up - but gets a bit shouty. No finesse; not subtlety.

    Randy: Didn't work at all.
Ellen: Should be uplifting; didn't show us who you are.
    Kara: Song not right.
Simon: A peanut performance; horrible arrangement.

I agree, I thought it was okay. I remember a several seasons ago when a female contestant did a "quirky" song and was villified for not belting it out "on such an important occasion"! And it was Simon who buried her.

Smile? Really and why? I know it is Michael Jackson's favourite song. And wow, she is already missing notes. Ouch my ears

I will never vote for Didi. Unless it comes down to her and Tim Urban. And if it comes to that, I will have already stopped watching!

I love that the best most of us can do with Didi is "it didn't suck", "decent job" and "It wasn't horrible". She doesn't encourage much genuine enthusiasm.

But Paige? That was horrible. I don't care how good they're pimping your voice as. I felt the life leach out of that studio when you sang.

I sense that Paige heard Lea Michele do this on Glee. But Paige? You are no Lea Michele.

Paige: Love the song, but the performance was just ok.

I mis-posted. This should be Paige's swan song.
