Me too...I thought he did a good job, tonight...better than last week, IMO.

I agree with Simon. I don't think Tim was great, by a long shot. But other than Big Mike...who went from good to great this week...Tim was the only one who showed a marked improvement over last week. Granted, last week he was dismal, but it didn't hurt my ears listening to him this week. If he continues to improve and gain some confidence, he may have some staying power. The good looks will certainly help with the tween crowd...after all, look how far they took Sanjaya.

Lee DeWyze does Lips of Angel. He ditches the guitar.

The pitch problems overwhelm what otherwise would have been a very nice vocal. He clings to the mic stand for dear life.

Randy: You took a chance. Some pitch problems but I liked it.
Ellen: Lots of passion and intensity (maybe nervousness)? But it worked.
Kara: Great improvement. I can hear you on the radio right now. (Kara listens to the radio?)
Simon: Vocally you are head and shoulders above everyone else. But you look terrified. I'm waiting for you to totally connect.

Wait. There's no "group sing" tonight and you risked your life rushing home?

I'd almost like him for that... if he was actually any better.

Next up: Lee Whatsisname. Who last week had great song selection, good guitar playing, and bad pitch. Leave out the bad pitch and he could be okay.

Eeek. Too late. There goes the pitch.

In Simon's words... this guy knows how to be "current". He just can't hold a tune.

Have never heard this song by Lee. Sounds great in some parts, not so great in others.

I love love love the tone of Lee's voice. Really liking this song tonight! Finally, something I might download from Itunes!

His knowledge of current music seems much better than the others.

Too bad he can't control his voice.

OMG, I love this song. Perfect for Lee. Loving this! Sounds a little like Adam Duritz.

Lee and Alex the best for me tonight.

Lee was excellent....love the rasp of his voice. Very sexy, indeed.

And I hate that song by Hinder. Lee really made me believe he meant what he singing.
