    I think these kids try too hard to pick some song that they can change up and garner tons of attention (like a few notables in the past). I'm beginning to wonder how many of them really have the talent to just pick a decent song and then sing it really, really well. Is that asking so much?

    Jermaine, no.

    I like Jermaine's personality, and I like his voice (okay), but not this jazz-lite arrangement of this song (yuck!).

    And he's looking a little PeeWee Herman tonight.

    Simon is right. Jermaine is totally disconnected with the meaning of the song. "What's Going On?" was an anti-war/social-consciousness song. These kids need to take the lyrics seriously and change the arrangement based on the emotional impact of the song, not just based on vocal tricks.
