Going on Aug 1 in Charlotte, NC... even in the 1st minute of presale I can never get anywhere close to the stage.
That usually means that those seats are being held for VIP's. If any are not needed, they will be released for sale later. You can often find the last of them popping up 24 - 48 hours before the concert. So, if you can hold out until the last minute, you can often score some great seats.

how do you get in the first 10 rows? easy, pay more money. i just now bought two tickets to charlotte aug. 1st show. 8th row=404.00 total for two tickets.
i wonder if we will know the show song list before the first concert in july. i liked a lot of them but adam most of all. he is so talented, nice and down to earth at the same time.

I will be at the Memphis show on July 26th!!

As usual, it will be me, my son and my mom going! We went ahead and got a hotel room right there on Beale Street so we can walk to the arena and not have to worry about driving/parking plus we can hang out at the buses as long as we want to try and get photos/autographs!

    Re: Summer Tour

Well I went to the concert on Friday night and had a blast.

I was able to meet all the idols, with the exception of Lil, and they signed my program. I talked to Kris and think that I must have come off somewhat sane as he said I was adorable. I was wearing a Kradam shirt that both Kris and Adam liked.

For me the standout for the tour, other than Kris, Adam and Allison --- who I already expected to be brilliant, were Anoop and Matt G. The only weak moment of the night, in my eyes, was Lil's set. After seeing the tour I wonder just how good some of them would have been on the show without legal restraints and thinks of that nature from 19 Management.

If you do decided to wait to meet the Idols after the show I think I was there for almost 2 hours, but it was well worth it. The only people that didn't get to all the fans waiting were Adam, Kris and Anoop. Anoop because he was being so sweet and posing for pictures with everyone until he was rushed for time at the end and Adam and Kris because they didn't come out early enough to reach the whole crowd.

Scott also came out with his brother and signed autographs at our section briefly and it was great to see how nice both he and his brother were and how they orchestrated things so he could participate a little.

Sound like fun - I get them here in DC in two more weeks.

So, what are these legal restraints you speak of? Did Megan sign a contract requiring her to sing off-key? Is there an LA ordinance the forces Lil to sing karaoke? Did Obama sign an executive order saying that Matt Girard is legally required to scat in falsetto for at least 10% of every song?

I mean in regards to song choice and whether it could be legally cleared. They are very restricted in that area and I do believe that it hinders all of them to an extent.
