Yep. I meant Anoop, and. I'm complete agreement about Adam!

Not that I would buy their music, but they have accomplished something that is respectable.
I'd add Chris Daughtry to that list, and Kelly Clarkson has a fairly respectable career, though I don't think she'll have the staying power of Underwood.

Anoop has really been a disaster. He's just not that good and some of his performances are more like parodies (that Usher song, ugh) than a serious attempt to interpret a song. The best thing about him are his adorable parents, I want to hug them every time they're shown in the audience.

I loved his Kris Allen impression.

He's pretty inconsistent. Not bad last night though.

I thought his performance last night was 'mediocre'.

...about as exciting as his outfit.
    He mailed it in.

    C'mon, we're looking for a star, right?

I actually liked Anoop's performance especially since he sang a song that I don't like. I liked his rendition and not Cyndi's.

I don't think he's particulary bad but I just don't get him. He's singing well only when he's singing the most boring ballad in the universe. And when he chooses a song that doesn't bore me to tears, he's not singing it well. I think that's the main problem with him to me.

Didn't do bad last night, but not good either. Will go home tonight or next week.

Exactly what I thought! I thought it was Anoop's best performance. And I don't really like the song, and like Cyndi even less. But I enjoyed the version Anoop did quite a bit. I even threw him a few votes, and he's not even one of my favorites.

Nadia Turner did the song in season 4, and it wasn't very good. I liked her too.
