    Here's a hilarious idea.

Look it up on YouTube if you don't recall it.

when i first read that, i was like "What?!?! are they insane?!?!"

but the more i think about it, the more appealing it becomes... in a sick sort of way...

I think he looks like a young, darker haired Luke Perry. (Without the horrible 90s hairstyle)

When we first saw this guy my friend and I began referring to him as "the good looking guy" then the next day at work the UPS guy called him the same thing!

Has anybody heard that song Eric sang on Boy Meets World, it went something like "when a crime breaks out, all the cute girls shout, call the good looking guy"? That's what I sing to myself whenever I see this guy.
"You better shut your mouth when you're talkin' to me!"

Cute, too, which is why he's still around.
I heard it the same way you did. I thought he sounded fine, if his presentation was a bit "Broadway." I think the only drawback was that he kept it all on the same plane throughout, instead of revving it up a notch toward the end. In fact, I think the first half of his song had more energy than the last half.

But he sure is eye candy, and I like his personality too, even if it does seem maybe too laid back for superstardom. Anyway I'd like him to stick around for at least a couple more weeks just so I can enjoy the scenery.

    Does that make me shallow?

I don't think he's all that good. I can picture him on tv rather than as a singer.

I see him as a broadway performer and nothing more. Certainly not a rock star or pop singer.

He needs to stop picking those high-pitch, upper register, wailing "aaaaahhh" kind of songs and go for some in the lower range.

Then I must be too!! Going to hate to see him leave. Singing just okay but I could look at him all day!
