Much like I do when they perform songs from the current top twenty.

They perform songs from the current top twenty?
    When does that take place?

I don't know if they are this year, but they have in seasons past. That is what I was referring to.

Mine too, if I even bother to watch at all.
I'll have to get an early start on the Beer.

Hey, knock me over with a joy stick! I just downloaded Kristi's mp3 of GBTUSA and she sounds great.
With her wholesome All-American looks and recorded sounds like this I can see her being adopted by TPTB in country music, I sure can.

I saw this comment on YouTube and it totally changed the way I felt about Kristy's performance:

If she was such a great singer (country) she would have nailed this song, she should sing higher notes more, not just at the end, this should have been her night, but she was a disappointment.
I quite enjoyed watching Kristy but she did sing it very simply. That said, I didn't yell "Get off my TV screen!" as I have in previous weeks

I think KLC was unduly dissed by Simon again last night. I liked her.

I think her biggest problem probably is that when she does something that stands out, it usually means that she has done something truly horrendous. When she sings well, she's just forgettable.

I thought KLC was adorable last night. I thought her song was very sweet and I loved the bare feet. I believe Simon picks his favorites and only occassionally throws a bone to anyone else. He was in a terrible mood last night and really only liked David Archuletta last night.

I don't think KLC is all that bad. What is hurting her, in my opinion, is her complete lack of stage presence. For comparison sake only, Carrie Underwood was spoken to a few times in the beginning weeks about looking like a deer in headlights and not connecting with the crowd. I get the same feeling with KLC. If she can find a way to break out and really connect, she could last a few longer. At the rate she's going, I give her 1 or 2 weeks tops.
