I didn't expect to see her again. The song wasn't bad at all

I started to listen to it a bit but got bored and FF'ed through the rest of it. She was never a favorite of mine anyway

Brook is sort of a yawn-fest. The novelty wore off in the moment she made T12.

I like Brooke's personality and I thought she was very pretty. I just thought her voice was pretty thin though and not very memorable.

My take is that it was a boring song--an attempt to make a song that SOUNDS like Carole King, but without the "spark" that King's songwriting and particularly the strong instrumentals behind those songs always brought. It emulated it without reaching near the same level, which resulted in it being a yawn-fest.

Brooke's voice and performance style continue to be great and interesting, but she needs better songs. Musical hooks. Because that song had none of that--just a mellow flavor that was TOO mellow for any lasting impression.

    Good for her.
While I was not impressed with her vocals, I did find her to be very likable on the screen. I think an acting career may be a good venue for her. She's certainly camera ready.

    Glad to hear that, Unk.
I found her a very likable person on the show. I think she's smart to pursue the acting.
