Thanks again Razorbacker! I am glad to see this chart and to see that some of my favorites are getting more air time than I would've imagined.

Thanks Razor & Buckeye for the info. Does anyone know how Adam Lambert's sales for the GlamNation DVD/Cd are doing?

Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina enter the airplay charts - Idol Chatter: American Idol News, Rumors, & Information

... Scotty's I Love You This Big gets 560 spins, according to Mediabase. That's enough to put him at No. 46 on USA TODAY's Country radio chart and No. 30 on the Idol airplay chart. That's considerably better than the past two seasons' winners -- Lee DeWyze and Kris Allen -- did in their first weeks after the show. However, Scotty's circumstances are a little different from theirs, since his coronation single also doubles as the first single his label will promote to radio.

Lauren's Like My Mother Does debuts at No. 63 with 197 spins. Don't be surprised if both singles drop in spins next week, as the novelty of playing the new Idols' singles wears off and stations start deciding whether they want to add them to their regular rotation. ...

The Scotty & Laure era begins.

Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina enter the airplay charts

    By Brian Mansfield, USA TODAY

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina both make their debuts on the American Idol airplay chart this week. Scotty, especially, is off to a promising start.

Elsewhere, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's Don't You Wanna Stay remains the most-played Idol track and moves into the AC top 40. Mandisa stays at No. 1 on the Christian AC chart for a third week with Stronger, while Chris Sligh moves into the top 20 on that chart with One. The new Brad Paisley/Carrie Underwood duet, Remind Me, comes in at No. 38 on the Country chart. And David Cook's The Last Goodbye breaks the AC top 40.

Jennifer Hudson's No One Gonna Love jumps from No. 65 on the Idol airplay chart to No. 47, while Jordin Sparks' I Am Woman moves from No. 87 to No. 73.

Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler both are on the Hot AC chart with singles. Jennifer's On the Floor is also at No. 6 on the Top 40 chart.
