If Ruben had a different area code, would it affect your vote?

A lot of people seem tired of his 205. Perhaps he should change his area code to the powerful and evocative 212, the ever popular 800, or the self-aggrandizing 866.

Would a 914 Ruben remain your velvet teddy bear?

hmmmm, he simply is the 205 to me now.

I'm not sure I could remain loyal to another area code, unless it was 416.

What's in an area code? That which we call 205 by any other number would smell as sweet.
Iím haunted a little this evening by feelings that have no vocabulary and events that should be explained in dimensions of lint rather than words.

Zhora, how very poetic of you!

Funny thread! I'd like him more if he was from the "618".

Fluff! Thought I'd send a shout out to the 416 from the 5-1-9!

If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

LOL! This thread cracks me up...

I'm just happy I know the area code for Birmingham if I ever (for some unknown reason) happen to stop over there.

I think the 205 is too dear to many Americans by now for Ruben to suddenly decide he's a 502.

But what if Alabama decides to change the area code from 205 to something else? : What would happen then??

I think I've had too much sugar.

Wow. Never thought of that. I suppose the 303 would make him more appealing to me. Samantha Cohen was from the 303 and I supported her. Does anyone know Clay's area code? If it has a 3 in there, that might help me make the final decision.

Clay's area code is 919 (that's Raleigh's area code)...his area code at UNCC is 704. I'm pretty sure that's right....

No, I'm not obsessed...I'm from NC!
