Aww...she was a teenager then! Who knows her life circumstances? Her record has been cleared. I'm still voting for her. At least she didn't do bondage/fetish flicks like that joe millionaire gal :rolleyes
And I sing sometimes like my life is at stake because you're only as loud as the noises you make.

    Trenyce's arrest

I don't know if this is repeat, but I'd have to do a Simon and say So What!
It wouldn't affect my vote. Evidently she shoplifted about $500.00 of merchandise and was a teenager And has paid for it. In my opinion, expunged records for minor offenses during the teen years should be just that, expunged forever. Sorry it made the news, and I'm not particularly more for Trenyce than for anyone else. I commend AI for allowing her to continue.

I dont see how people can say she was just a teenager its ok. She was about 19 if I'm doing the math right she should know better and no matter what her life was like its no reason to steal. But she did do the punishment that was given to her she kept her act clean.
I dont feel sorry for her at all, she did the crime there is no way to change time. I do think this will hurt her chances. It wouldn't change my vote at all if I was going to vote for her, but I never planed on voteing for her in the first place.

I don't think it's really a big deal...but anytime you go on national television on one of these reality shows no matter what you've done in your past, you'd have to realize it will come up just based on what we've seen starting with Kelly W. in the original Survivor.

Well I'm dissapointed that she shoplifted, but I admire that she was up front and told the producers instead of hiding it. That took courage. It will not affect my voting in any way. I'm a Clay fan. I don't really think it will affect her too much unless the story gets more news coverage. Then it might.

I dissagree, what Frenchie did was legal; what Trenyce did was not. I find Frenchie's actions a lot less objectionable, although personally, I don't think either of them should have been pulled from the show.

Again, the fetish/bondage stuff is legal; shoplifting isn't.

But I dunnno.. I look at her now and I see a great person up there on stage. She always seem really nice and really respectful! Some people say she isn't a good role model. But she has changed and she represents herself as someone different than a criminal like some other Hollywood stars (Eminem, R. Kelly, Fat Joe, about any rapper..) so she is a good role model because she has changed her life for the better. The judge expunged the charge because of her good behavior and the fact that she said she would change her life around and she has for the better. So thats why I'm going to vote for her just as much! This shouldn't effect her and I hope she doesn't lose fans over it.

You make a good point here, Thonolan, and I agree with you wholeheartedly.

I don't think it's fair to condemn any of these women for the mistakes and/or choices they've made in their past if it has nothing to do with their performances on the show. We can evaluate them on their singing, or current behavior, as long as it's relevant to the show, but what right do we have to scour their pasts? I also find it distressing that people would vilify Frenchie (or even Sarah, of Joe Millionaire) for doing something that is completely legal, and I still don't think it was right to kick Frenchie off the show.

I hope this doesn't hurt Trenyce in the long-run, but it very well might.
