    "God Bless the U.S.A."

Alright, their first version was great, but that reprise...pretty horrible. First, Seacrest announces that they're going to sing it again, which is fine, except that Rickey escorts Julia and Carmen off stage. Trenyce (who is for some reason standing behind the much taller Clay) frantically gestures for the missing trio to come back. Clay wonders what Trenyce is doing, and turns around to check it out... With all the confusion, it's no wonder that Clay and Corey both are hopelessly out of synch with Joshua when they join in. Finally, Kimberly Caldwell gets a closeup- bad idea, since her excessive bawling has made her mascara run and she now resembles a raccoon.

I'm sorry, but that was one of the sorriest things I've seen in a long, long time.

well I guess that's what you get for adding to the program. I enjoyed hearing them sing together again, though.

They sang it beautifully the first time, but yeah, they might want to think twice before having those kids reprise a routine unexpectedly.

I think they had extra time and they were doing filler since it was live.

Wasn't really fair to spring that on the performers.

With that said, though, I enjoyed it both times.

I liked watching too, even though the second time around wasn't rehearsed. I like seeing them goof up as a group.... they're keeping it real!

It's kind of interesting to see how they dealt with having that sprung on them.

They did pretty well on the whole and I much prefer Josh when he ditches the country twang.

as did I. Josh is much better without the country.

I enjoyed watching it the second time around too. It was completely sprung on them at the last minute and I think they handled it well. It gave us a chance to see the "real" them....not the rehearsed version of them.
