Okay...I knew there was some kind of connection...He's from Alabama..that's why he seems so down to earth...I didn't think Alabama had a finalist this time but we do...Alabama usually always go all the way or the top 3..Reuben, Bo,and now Taylor...I definetly will be rooting for him... Alabama is being represented..He looks older than 29...

I agree with everyone that says "You'll either love him or hate him." Even Simon couldn't explain why he didn't fall under Taylor's spell although Paula and Randy tried to extract it from him. Currently, he is one of my top three favourites.

I'm looking forward to what he does in general. Although his Ray Charles imitations are fun, for the moment, he can't pull that through every song selection or people will just think he's "tet-ched in the head." Find your own style, Taylor.
Still crazy, after all these shears

I adore Taylor (and I would say that even if he wasn't from Alabama!). He is unique...he is humble...he is genuine and sincere...and you can tell that he loves music and to sing and perform. I don't mind the Ray Charles/Joe Cocker type impersonations (tho it makes my mom crazy).

My top 2 guys right now are Taylor and Chris Daughtrey....each unique and talented....For selfish reasons, I hope they at least make it to the Top 10 so that I can see them on tour!

Oh yeah! I just loved the way he came in to the judges' room, playin' harmonica. That was just great! I'm really glad he got through.

This guy is easily my favorite contestant. On a show where most of the performers sort of blend together, this man is totally unique. He also has a helluva voice.

Yeah, I've hopped aboard the Taylor love train. He is so refreshing to me, and he sings my kind of music. I don't think his style is affected, I think that's just who he is.

I'm not sure I want him to win either, but if I vote this year he and Chris will probably be the only ones I vote for.

He's my favorite out of this season's contestants. Why, you ask? (grin)... because he's an original. Think about it. Almost 90 percent of the females are all the same... T&A, frankly. The guys are more diverse, in looks at least, than the women. Taylor has a style of his own. It may remind you of Ray Charles and Joe Cocker, but look closer- the man genuinely has these tics.

He seems genuine. He's refreshing. He has that undefinable quality that nudges you in the arm and says, "Yeah... don't know how to put it into words, but this one... he's different. He stands apart."

Go all the way, Taylor. He has star quality. He reminds me of that old saying... "The dogs may bark, but the parade marches on." Unfurl your flags, honey, and show us what you've got!

Very nice sentiments, Dansanee. I know that Taylor was the ONE person I remembered first, from all the try outs. And I love your "dog" quote; you should toss it into the "Words to Live by" thread!

I can't believe it's out there already! Apparently, we aren't his only fans. lol
