I LOVE Gordon Lightfoot. He was supposed to come through Chicagoland and do a concert at one of the local colleges the year before last but was deathly ill with a bowel obstruction or something. Anyone know how hes doing?

When some of my friends were modeling their guitar playing after Jimmy Page and Jimmy Hendrix, I was copying licks from Terry Clements and Red Shea.

I think Anne Murray is Barry Manilow in Drag . Nope I wouldn't care to see her.

BNL would be good, also Gordon Lightfoot, Colin James Jann Arden, Margo Timmins, Randy Bachman . Kim Mitchell would be a total hoot .

Am jumping on the BNL's bandwagon. That'd be fun.

Matt... you've never heard the song, "Here for a good time, not a long time"?

    I feel so old.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Yeah ..it was a good song ...
    I LOVED STREETHEART
,I had their Big 10 inch album (it was red Vinyl) They played in T.O . at a bar near me.I would love to see the singer from Streetheart judge the Canadian Idol even the singer from Loverboy( even though he looks so different now,he can still belt out a tune!

I love Streetheart too, waypast40...I used to go to their concerts when I was in high school, and I saw the singer (Kenny Shields) perform in a bar in Winnipeg several years ago. He was here in Saskatchewan recently for a show, but I didn't get to go see it - come to think of it, Trooper was here too.

ETA: I have ALL of Streetheart's albums

WAAAA....mine are all gone.I sold all my albums and books years ago ,and found a whole room that I had lost LOL.
They played at the Weston Hotel here around 1979 or 80.
They should get Bobby Vintage (I mean Vinton) to guest judge C.I..

Nelly Furtado might be interesting, or Kinnie Starr (although I'm positive she'll never be mentioned on CI).
