    Repeat offenders

Do you think any of the AI "losers" will turn up on AI2?

I really don't bet against Alexandra Bachelier at least trying out again.

I wonder if there's some rule that says once they try out they can't try out again (esp. if they make it onto the TV portion of the whole thing)...?

Can't remember where I heard it, but I'm pretty sure if you made it past the initial auditioning stage, you're ineligible for a re-do.

I thought I heard if you made it to the top 30 you couldn't come back.
I hope we get more talent this time...... Don't give me a hard time, you heard some of those losers too!

In one way I hope that is the rule, in another I don't.
I think there were some great performers, namely Gil Sinuet, Chris Aaron and even Ejay Day who didn't get a fair shake first time out.
Each one of them performed far better than Justin Guarini, but he got through on his heart throb status.

There are a number of contestants that I would really not like to see again though.
