    Re: Clay Aiken

Just got word that Clay will not be doing a concert at the Nokia center in Dallas as Ticketmaster had advertised. Ticketmaster jumped the gun in announcing it, as that concert booking was never confirmed in the first place.
Instead, Clay will be appearing at a July 4 extravaganza in another Texas venue. I can't member the name of the city. Maybe someone else will post it.

Someone told me it was Gayazagoose, Texas
I've never heard of that city before. Is it near Dallas?

Clay Aiken's UNICEF work in Afghanistan

The AI people (Idol Gives Back) can pretend Clay doesn't exist and ignore the fact that he's been a UNICEF Ambassador (to Africa, among other places) since 2004, but he's still very actively involved in these humanitarian efforts for UNICEF (in addition to the Bubel-Aiken Foundation).

Clay Aiken's Appeal For Afghanistan: $100,000 in 10 Days

Clay Aiken's Afghanistan Appeal: $100,000 in 10 days!

"I've just returned from Afghanistan and see that the need is urgent. Let's aim high and work together to raise $100,000 in 10 days. Join me in standing with UNICEF to help these kids."

New picture added to his appeal page.

Clay appeared on Good Morning America this morning, by video remote, to talk with Diane Sawyer briefly about his UNICEF work in Afghanistan.

    Re: Clay Aiken

Here's a screencap from the videoclip of Clay in Afghanistan, from Good Morning America today.
(It was on during the last 10 min. of the show and will probably be up on YouTube pretty soon.)

Yeah, not old but less like a kid. It's a good thing.

Footage of Clay in Afghanistan is also being shown on today's The Insider show (syndicated).
