Clay is wonderful. He has so much charisma and talent. I really liken him to almost a male version of, dare I say ... Celine Dion? I was watching a Celine video and some of her moves, the way she dramatically jerks her head from one side to another for emphasis, is exactly what Clay does. In fact, I would dare to even say that he has been influenced by her somewhat.

Some basic Clay/Celine comparisons ... help me out!
    • Both sing ballads and uptempos equally well
    • Both are very poised, polished and humorous
    • Both singers' names start with letter 'C'
    • Both last names are two syllables
    • Both started their careers in virtual obscurity (Montreal and North Carolina)
    • Both singers jerk their heads to one side for dramatic emphasis

    Please add more!

Both have a soft spot for chidren.
Both like to experiment with hair colors. (brown to blonde to brown)

If Clay ever does Vegas, he'll wipe the floor with Celine. Just kidding, I like 'em both.

PS: OK ... I know I was stretching it a bit with some of those, but just trying to have a little fun with the argument

    Um, how about:
    • both singers' reputations are currently being slandered by JayPeaPatch?
    Couldn't resist.

Why is it that these people really disturb me? I like Clay, and I'm thrilled at this success, but there's just something frighteninly bizarre about the way people act like he's some sort of messiah, healing and inspiring everyone lucky enough to be in his wake.

I went to the Clay/Kelly concert- liked it, & even bought tickets to Clay's Solo tour, which I've recently given up (1 ticket) to a friend of my daughter's (to take my place) because I think I may be a little bored at the show- would much rather my daughter take her friend (also a Clay fan)- maybe that would be more fun.

However- I still worry that he may "come out of the closet", I think he COULD be gay- whatever on that, but just hate to see him break the hearts of some of his fans (especially the young girls) that love him so! It broke my heart when I was younger when I had such a HUGE crush on George Michael & found out later that he was gay- it doesn't effect me now, because I'm so much older( still love George Michael too, but back then it bothered me (just hope everything turns out ok!)
Clay is a great entertainer/singer/performer- But maybe you should just be prepared (JIC)

A fan site typically means a site that is devoted to a particular contestant or concept. It's basically a fan club where everybody shamelessly gushes and obsesses over the object of their affection. That's obviously not what the FoRT is. Fans may be in the title, but it is intentionally far from anything you'd describe as a fan site.

You actually highlighted the wrong portion of that quote.

We aren't a fan site for any (single) show or contestant.
