    I was wondering the same thing. I have looked back through here and I don't see a reference. I checked the AJ site as well since it was posted there before the last competition. I haven't found any site with a listing so I guess tonight will be a surprise. I just hope it is not 1972!

    Personally, since Jordan Knight and Deborah Gibson will be judges tonight, I think it would be fun (funny) to have the kids do songs from the late 80's/early 90's when NKOTB and DEBBIE Gibson were popular. Most of you probably weren't even born yet when they were the hot acts on tour but I can see Lucy doing DEBBIE's "Only In My Dreams" and Jordan taking on "Electric Youth". Despite the fact Chauncey isn't one of my favorites, I will admit he would probably do a better than decent job with "I'll Be Loving You Forever" or "Didn't I Blow Your Mind" from NKOTB.

    it would be cool if they did songs from 1989. except most of the songs are, well..., not appropriate. examples:

    Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith
    Love Shack - B-52's

    etc...

    but then there are debbie's songs and NKOTB and janet + michael jackson, cher..........
    ..:: Pami ::..

    I love AJ!!!

    AJ will ALWAYS be MY American Junior!!!!

    Congrats: Tori, Taylor, Chauncey, Lucy, and Danielle!!!

    I hope they don't do like 1971 or something. I kind of remember Jordan Knight. The name sounds familiar...wow I must have been really young when I listened to his music.

    Wow they are at least getting away from 1970. They are probably doing oldies so that the kids don't know the songs at all or not very much so that they have to learn the song and make it "their own" so that if they make the group it will show that they can learn songs quickly rather than just going by what they heard of it originally performed. Like say if they did perform songs like Britney Spears and stuff, they would naturally try and sing it like her.
