I checked the FOX website and there is no results show on the fall schedule, just a one-hour show on Tuesdays. Maybe they are going to turn it into a show about the group once the 5 are chosen.

If AJ2 is going to be a one-winner show like AI, it would be sooo much better! You would see a totally different group of kids up there. Producers wouldn't have been so concerned with "who will LOOK good with who", and "who will overpower who".

Yuck! That would be awful and I wouldn't tune in to watch it.

Here's an idea of how it can be done tastefully:

Start with the Top 32, then let viewers narrow it down to 16, 8, 4, 2, and 1. It's too cruel to vote off one kid at a time, but you can soften the blow by eliminating several each round.

So we wouldn't necessarily have a top 10 that performs each week...instead create a Round One, Round Two, Round Three, etc.
How do you fill out a season of TV programming with 6 rounds?

Anyway, this was from USA Today, Monday, July 21:

Fox's The Simple Life— a take on Green Acres with the roles essentially reversed — is moving forward. And positive reaction to that show, which stranded partying hotel heiress Paris Hilton and her pal Nicole Richie (daughter of Lionel) on an Arkansas family farm for a month, will likely lead Fox to save the series for fall, where it will would replace a previously announced second season for American Juniors.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have the second season because the ratings haven't been all that great. However, I don't know how well this "Simple Life" idea will work either. Sounds awful!

I think it should be a one-winner type thing, but in a nicer format... from 20 to 10, to 7 to 5 to 3 to 1, etc., like The Truth said. They should've done this for the first season.... it would've been interesting. Also, how are they going to do it in the fall? Kids will be in school? Also, are they going to change the age? I'd like to see it be 10-15 year olds.

all i know is that i'd be MUCH more likely to watch a second season of American Juniors than that Simple Life show... that sounds like the dumbest show ever - hopefully FOX will wisen up!
    I Love American Juniors!!!
Congratulations to DANIELLE WHITE! Lucy Hale, Chauncey Matthews, and Taylor and Tori Thompson!

Possibly, they're just going to have people vote every Tuesday night
and combine all the votes as they go along. Then after a certain
number of weeks, the person with the most total votes wins.

That would explain there being no results shows.

Maybe they'll just say forget it and drop all the kids and only take Tori and Taylor, and try to market them as the next Olsen Twins. 19E would make more money that way.
