    Westwood Collegiate, University of Manitoba - Jazz and piano theory for two years, Precursor Productions an electronic music production school

    1999 Pan-Am Games, Casinos across Canada, Indigenous games, television shows, radio shows, Prairie Music Awards Showcase, Ron Paley Big Band Production

    When did you first start to sing?
    My mom told me as soon as I could crawl I was singing

    What is your favourite song to sing?
    Any of my original tunes, because it really means something true.

    What is the first concert you went to?
    New Kids on the Block

    What is the last concert you went to?
    Maceo Parker

    What other talents do you have?
    I'm a jazz/funk piano player, play bass, rhythm guitar, trumpet, drum kit, congas and djembe. I practice Martial arts (Purple Dragon, Cappuera, Mua Thai and Weaponry - Nunchuka is my forte) and rock climbing.

    What are your goals in life?
    Travel around the world, "vibeing" with all kinds of cultures such as: Tibetan monks, African, Indian etc. and learning their styles. To collaberate with my own music...global, timeless, sexy, deep groove music if you will.

    What album would your friends be surprised that you own?
    None, I love all styles of music and so do my friends, as should others (open the mind).

    Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

    This may sound cheezy, but my family. They're all involved in music in some way and really inspired me to be where I am now.

    Once again, all types. Depends on how the vibe is at the moment.

    Hands down, "Great Gig in the Sky - Darkside of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. The chick singing it is so passionate you can hear the experience and pain in her voice.

    Jamiroquai

    Sade and Angie Stone

    Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

    Jamiroquai, Sade, Angie Stone, Billie Holiday and Sly and the Family Stone

    Run, rock climb, yoga, martial arts, anything active, record and write music, practice instruments, have a moment in nature

    Whenever I play live with my band, it's more than proud, it's euphoric.

    Someone who has something to teach people - spiritually, mentally, musically and emotionally

    When this funny chick got cut and her response was: "And you will ALL see me on Broadway."

    Zack Werner because he's brutally honest.

    That I've been writing, recording and producing originals for three or four years and have about two albums of material.

    Clay...used to be Ruben

    Salmon sashimi or tuna with apple, flaxseed and balsamic vinegar. Try it!! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

    Winnipeg Jets

    The Simpsons, obviously.

    She is very pretty, I imagine Simon would have loved to have her as part of AI by her look alone.

    Sherry just happens to be one of the most amazing talents in Winnipeg. As you can see from her profile, she is a well rounded musician, lots of intruments, but can this gilr SING!!!! I can hardly wait for the 21st to hear what she brings to the CI table!

    Here's audio of some of Sherry's studio tracks.

    Not bad. She has a very similar vibe (and voice) to Esthero, a Toronto singer who released an album on Sony a few years back. A little too mature for Idol. More jazzy than pop. I probably would buy her CD if she won Idol or not.

    Sherry has the best personality!She's so down to earth!And she has a great voice!I hope she gets a record contract!

    Sherry's not part of the show anymore. If she ever does get a record contract, it won't be with this company.
