If they do this again and you're still within the age range, would you try out next time?

I'm too old for American Juniors, but too young for American Idol! I really want to do either of them! They should do like a Teen Idol or something!

Actually, I think one issue that should be explored is what exactly qualifies as a junior?

It's really not right to have 12 and 13 year olds competing with children 10 and under. There is a huge difference between kids that age.

Kids like AJ and Chantel are much more mature and seem more like young adults than the 10 and under kids, who really are just children and act like it.

Perhaps they should have had a 11 and under and then another category for 12 to 14 years old.

I was thinking Jrs should be maybe 10-15, because they didn't even pick anyone under 9, and the 14-15 year olds aren't able to compete in anything, they're right in between AJ and AI right now. And I think most kids under 10 wouldn't really be able to handle everything that the show brings.
to Taylor, Chantel, Katelyn, Danielle, and Tori. Good luck on making the group!

When Simon invented this concept with S Club Juniors, they picked a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds. Sounds like they are trying to go a little younger this time. But I wonder if the only reason they auditioned 6-8 year olds was so they could have more little cute kids for the audition shows. I hope not; that would be a pretty cheap trick.
