Stand By Me was a real snoozefest (Phillip), and I like many of his performances. But that one? Sheesh! Nothing special. I agree that Jessica won that round, and I'm no Jessica fan.

I am not a Jessica fan either but she won Round 1; Simon Fuller did not pick a great song for Philip. It was boring.

What is this mess? Whoever heard of a performance by a non-contestant on the finale performance show? Yes, I do remember about the Coca-Cola songwriting contest, but still...

Never seen Jason Derulo before & wouldn't care if I never see him again! That was BLAAAANNNNND! And awful!

Just tossing this out there but I heard that Philip has to have surgery following the finale as he has suffered from kidney stones. If he were to win AI, would he be able to do the media rounds required of the winner? Or, would it be a blessing for him to finish 2nd? I think he, Jessica, Joshua, Skylar, Hollie & Colton probably all will have successful careers.

Just to add, I am a Philip fan!
