Would people be criticizing Hollie so much if the judges hadn't started it with their nonsense? I think she has a beautiful and she's become my favorite. I think she's shown more growth than Jessica, Phillip, or Skylar. I would love to see a Hollie / Joshua finale, but I guess there's no chance of that happening.Originally Posted by MsDiva2007

If Jessica can "sing anything" according to Randy, why hasn't she improved and just knocked it out of the park? She's really only good on the ballads. She provided a clear contrast for us when she sang Proud Mary and Beautiful the other night.
Phillip has changed/grown once ... by singing the melody? I thought that is what singers do ... sing the melody. I think he's not bad looking and I do have compassion for his health issues as I did for Crystal. Diabetes is no picnic either. BUT ... does someone deserve to win a singing talent competition due to "strength" in adversity? Perhaps he should have asked for a medical release from the show and asked to come back next year when he's better .... both health-wise and vocally.
