Half British invasion and half sixties...uh, current?
I hope we get some good music from the top 5 as they battle for our votes.
The threads will reopen after the show airs on the west coast.

Seems to me Sixties Week never turns out that great. It's about the same for Seventies Week. The kids don't have a good idea of what songs would work well. Most are too dated.
It doesn't help that, of course, the singers didn't live during the context of the songs! But I don't think the songs themselves are "dated." It is why these songs are still considered standards by which to judge current singers.
LOL Elise would have done a good job this week. Then again, she probably would have wasted the opportunity.
Let's see if Jessica, Joshua, and Hollie can find songs to scream out.
Joshua made me like him again last week, will he keep me liking him. This guy (the mentor) looks like a rocked out Barney in that unfortunate purple jacket.
Hollie's rehearsal didn't go well. Nice staging for the beginning of her song.

I really have a hard time understanding why someone "mentored" her to sing this song... Not a good choice for her voice.
The Buffalo Bills Will Win A Superbowl Someday!!!
Loved, loved, loved Hollie's attitude. Someone should have told her a long time ago to not give a shyt about what others think.
Hollie is getting better and better each week. I guess it just took her a while to get used to the stage and audience.
And like usual the judges heard something else. Well they liked it...

Hollie...I don't hate it! She's doing a solid job. What's with all the purple? Did Hollie just get a standing O? Wow, never trust the judges when they suddenly steer the bus away from you. Hope her fans aren't lulled by this into not voting for her.
Jennifer looks pretty.

Steven Van Zandt (this week's mentor) has rocked out with The Boss and been in the business forever. He was in the audience seated next to Jimmy during last week's performance show.
