Man, this show is trying so hard to help her/save her (Elise). They should bring some babies up there for her to kiss and some puppies. Skylar should have been last, best of the night for me. I actually liked Colton too.

Anyone find it ironic that Elise (who remidns me of Haley) is now doing a cover of Haley's cover of Gaga's "You and I"?

I liked Haley's version better.

Even if she's at the bottom I think the judges will save her.

I liked how they refused to pick someone they were worried about at the end, I thought for sure they'd throw Hollie under the bus. They threw out everyone else's name while talking except hers, so the message was clear, but they stopped just short of saying she's the one they think will go home.

I never thought I'd say this, but I have to got to give Randy lots of credit tonight - he was really good, fair, and made sense. I liked how he handled the critiques. Huh.

I feel like Colton is passing Phillip. This week C. tried something different, whereas P. was much the same. Overall, a very good night -- very entertaining. I don't ever remember an Idol show with such current songs.

Philip, while I do love him, he refuses to entertain ANYBODY telling him that he should put his guitar aside sometimes. He's determined to do it, solely, his way.....experts and experienced people be damned. That can come back to bite him in the butt. Oh well....his choice.
